Mr Sotirios Foutsizoglou (GMC)

Mr Sotirios Foutsizoglou is on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register (GMC No. 6134875) for Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of EBOPRAS and has several years experience in FUT & FUE Hair Transplants.

Mr S. Foutsizoglou has undertaken numerous fellowships and clinical attachments in Europe and USA wranging from Microsurgical Reconstruction and Breast Oncoplastics to Oculoplastics and Aesthetic Surgery where he begun his medical career.

In addition to his medical studies, Mr Foutsizoglou graduated as valedictorian in Mathematics from the University of Athens. He also graduated top of his class for his Master’s degree in Biostatistics from the University of Athens in collaboration with Harvard University before pursuing his PhD studies in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the T.H. Chan Public Health School of Harvard University. He is also fluent in five foreign languages holding teaching licenses in two of them.

His journey in Aesthetic Medicine began in 2006 and over the years he has gained great experience in all aspects of medical aesthetics having performed more than 12,000 treatments. In addition, he has presented at most major national and international plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine conferences and meetings sharing experience with peers. He has been involved in clinical governance such as audits and research projects looking into the sexual dimorphism in facial ageing and specific gender differences in facial anatomy to optimise facelifting techniques between men and women and has published extensively in all industry related magazines and journals.
